Job Summary:
The Advertising Traffic Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of advertising materials and ensuring the timely delivery of creative assets to various media outlets. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet advertising campaign deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate the trafficking of advertising materials, including creative assets, to appropriate media outlets according to campaign schedules.
2. Collaborate with internal teams, such as Creative, Marketing, and Production, to ensure timely delivery of assets and proper implementation of advertising campaigns.
3. Liaise with external vendors and media partners to communicate delivery requirements and resolve any issues related to ad placements.
4. Monitor and track advertising schedules to ensure campaigns are executed accurately and within agreed timelines.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all advertising materials, including insertion orders, contracts, and creative specifications.
6. Verify that advertising materials comply with legal and regulatory guidelines, as well as brand standards.
7. Manage and prioritize multiple advertising projects simultaneously, ensuring that each campaign receives the necessary attention and resources.
8. Provide regular updates to the Advertising Manager and relevant stakeholders regarding project status, potential risks, and recommended solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in advertising coordination or traffic management, preferably within an agency or media organization.
3. Strong understanding of advertising processes, including campaign development, media planning, and creative production.
4. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accurate and error-free execution of advertising campaigns.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Proficient in using project management tools and software to track and manage advertising workflows.
8. Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to advertising, including copyright laws and industry standards.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.
10. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
